Ann Pape, artist
Ann Pape is a full-time artist and lifelong resident of Omaha. She has explored various art forms, including photography, ceramics, fiber arts, and watercolor, leading her to oil painting. She studied under Nancy Beal Meyer in Omaha and for the past 20 years studied under many nationally recognized artists through the Scottsdale Artists’ School in Arizona. She has been selected to exhibit in three shows at Omaha’s Gallery 1516 and been included in their permanent collection, and for nine years, the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney selected her work in their annual exhibit. Ann enjoys working en plein air for the immediate connection to nature but also likes the challenge of creating studio pieces that push the boundaries from impressionistic to abstract on a larger scale.
Ann’s work is available at ModernArtsMidtown gallery in Omaha.
