About Us
The Omaha Chamber Music Society is dedicated to bringing outstanding chamber music to the greater Omaha community. Since 2001, OCMS has presented its Summer Concert Season each June, featuring outstanding professional musicians drawn from the local community. These concerts have grown steadily and have built a dedicated group of followers and supporters who appreciate the high quality of the performances.
Omaha Chamber Music Society has forged collaborations throughout the community, working with partners that include Omaha Public Schools, Omaha Area Youth Orchestras, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Hospice House, Joslyn Art Museum and the Jewish Community Center. Through these collaborations, OCMS has expanded its activities in outreach and education, reaching out to bring chamber music into many areas of the community.
